My Favorite Place

I like to go to the beach. Especially I like the beach of the Hamahiga Island which is in Uruma city. It takes 15 minutes from my house to there by the car. Weather permitting, I often go to drive there to get relaxed. I love the contrast of colors between the blue ocean and the blue sky. At the beach, I sit on, and I listen to the sounds of waves. Although just only thing I do, it makes me comfortable. Moreover, I like to go there at night, because of no lights; I can see many stars in the sky. Therefore, the Hamahiga Island beach is my favorite place.

My Refrigerator

In my house, there is refrigerator in the kitchen. It is big but very old. We have to buy new one, because we sometimes hear strange sound from our refrigerator. The top of the refrigerator, there is freezer. We put frozen foods, ice cream and ice. In the middle, we put eggs, little water bottle and some food like leftover. Then, the bottom of this, we have drawer space. There are some chocolate and jelly. So we put in dessert. I often open this drawer. The most bottom of the space, we put in vegetables and big bottle of juice. I hardly open this drawer because I do not cook. Actually, I do not know what items in.

How to Have a Safe Vacation

When I have a vacation, I plan specifically where I want to go, and what I want to do. Especially, I go there for the first time, I have more attention to plan. Because I do not know the place, I would lose my way. So I may be confused and I may not enjoy the vacation. Therefore, I suggest that planning is the most important thing, when you want to have a safe vacation. In my case, when I went to Tokyo this summer vacation, I planned the trip vary detail. It was really enjoyable trip for me. So if you have many place to go, or buildings to visit on a vacation, you plan the daily schedule. I believe that it is not waste of time.

How to Make Some Foreign Friends

I suggest there are three ways to make friends who are from foreign countries. First, you go to Overseas Student Center in University of Ryukyus, because they have a system which helps international students. They introduce international students to you as a Japanese teacher. You teach Japanese for them, or you help their homework. So you can make friends with them. Second, you should work at base or a shop near base. The military come to the shop to buy something, and then you have a chance to make friends. Finally, the most important thing to make friends is trying to communicate with people. I believe communication is the best. You really want to make friends easily, you have to be activity and talkative wherever you go.

How to Live on a Small Budget

I have three points to live on a small budget. First, you do not eat any snacks and, you stop eating between meals. You have meal three times in a day, and you become healthy and, you do not use money to buy extra things. Second, when you go shopping, you have to go to supermarket on sale time. In addition, you have to buy food in bulk for the whole month or a week. Third, when you use water and electricity, you have to pay attention to use it. For example, if you do not use the room, you should turn the light off in the room. Moreover, when you use water, you have to set a limit to the amount. Finally, you should be always seeking a new idea how to save money.

How to Clean up After a House Party

When I clean up after a house party, I have to put together leftover dishes at first. Maybe, I am going to eat it next morning. Next, I pick up some garbage. Of course I have to classify it and, I throw it away. Then, I clear away the dishes on the table. Everything I remove from the table, I wipe it. Next, I use a vacuum cleaner, I clean the room. Because of this, I can clean the room easily and neatly. After I clean up the room, I have to wash all the dishes which were used at the party. The last, I check whether the room is completely cleaned or not. If the room is very cleaned, I can finish cleaning.

My Family Menber

I have a young sister who is sixteen years old. She was more different than others, because her fashion was so strange. When she was a little girl, she wore red skirt and pink shirt. It was not good choosing of colors. She did not have a class of choosing colors. However, now, she has a good class of that. Exactly, I do not know why her class is better, but I ask her to give some advices for my fashion recently. Nowadays, she becomes a 'GAL.' She makes up every weekend, so she is dressed herself up. She is always looked older than real her age.

My Classmate

My classmate name is Meg. She is a good friend of mine. I met her at University of Ryukyus. She and I are same major which is linguistics. She is from Uruma city, me too. Her birthday is November 5th. She likes dancing, so she goes to dance school once a week. Recently, she made a dance team with the school students and the team name is “chupito” which mean drinking in Spanish.

In the future, we have a same dream which is going to run a company. We do not know what kinds of company. We have to talk about it and decide. Now, I want to buy something from foreign countries and she wants to open a free dance school. Moreover, we want to collaborate with a most famous singer. The singer name is secret.

I like hanging out with her. I am interesting to talk about our dream with her. So this semester, we took same classes a lot to study economic and management.

I am Manae Yokoda. I took your class last semester. Do you remember me? I believe that you do not forget me. Do you remember my major? My major is linguistics but I took other major classes this semester. I want to study economics and sightseeing. Though I am interested in these major before, I did not take these kinds of class. Because I had many my required subjects, I was busy last semester. The reason why I took other major classes, I want to make my corporation. Actually, I do not have clear idea, so I have to decide some plans for the future.
